European Food Summit - GENERAL TERMS





REFUND POLICY

The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program, chefs and speakers and to cancel events at the European Food Summit, at any time without further notice. In case of canceled events, we will notify all participants who already payed registration fees via email. The general public will be informed about any cancellations or predetermined events at a later date via social media channels and organizers web page.

In case of:

  • cancellation due to force majeure, the paid registration fee is 100% refundable;
  • postponement of events to a new term, already purchased registration fees are considered valid in the new term;
  • disabled travel due to closure of airports, prohibited entry / exit to / from the country, the paid registration fee is 100% refundable;
  • personal decisions not to attend the event cannot be refunded.

By registering for the event, all participants agree that the organizer may use all photographs and audio and video content that may show their attendance.

The Organizer reserves the right to use these materials for promotional purposes, for publication in the media and online, for research and / or educational purposes. Participants agree any copyright or other right that relates to their mention or likeness.

Participants are aware that the organizer assumes no responsibility for any damage that may result from the publication of materials where visitors are mentioned or displayed. Participants agree that the organizer may contact them via email to notify them regarding the event.

Attendees attend the event at their own risk. The Organizer is not responsible for any lost or damaged items or for any injuries that may occur at the event.

At the company Jezeršek gostinstvo we understand the importance of protection of personal data. Therefore, we will handle your data responsibly and respect your privacy in accordance with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We understand the importance of privacy of our website visitors. Therefore, all the data that we collect on the website (online form), will be used exclusively for the purposes for which they were collected.

All personal data that you provide to us digitally (online form) is stored on servers within the company or partners with whom we have concluded contracts. 
The company Jezeršek gostinstvo cooperates with leading providers of data processing tools that comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The collected personal data that fall under the General Data Protection Regulation will be retained for up to 30 days from the moment you notify us that you no longer agree with the retention and processing of your personal data. 
If we wish to use your personal data you have provided to us for new or different purposes, other than for which it was originally collected, we will request your consent first. 
All personal data will be kept confidential.

(3) Collection, processing and use of personal data
We collect, manage, and process your personal data only for statutory purposes or on the basis of your explicit consent.
Personal data that we need to collect for statutory (or contractual) purposes are for example:

Personal data that we collect for other purposes and for which an individual's consent is needed are as follows:

Data obtained by consent is primarily intended for communication with individuals, in order to inform them about the European Food Summit news and the activities of the company Jezeršek gostinstvo.

We only collect and process personal data that we need for the performance of services or that are requested by law or contract or those for which you granted explicit consent. For example, such personal data is: name and surname, address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth. 
The use of your data for e-mail notification purposes shall be effected only after your consent or on the basis of a legitimate interest. For e-mail notification purposes, we collect: e-mail address (obligatory), name (optional), surname (optional).


(5) Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw the consent to process personal data at any time. You can withdraw the consent for a particular purpose or for all purposes of processing personal data with which you have agreed. 
You can withdraw the granted consent by sending us email to info@foodsummit.eu with subject: Unsubcribe. 

In case of withdrawal of the consent to collect or process personal data, all collected personal data to which the request for deletion refers will be deleted or excluded from automatic processing.
The withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data does not affect the legality of the processing of personal data relating to you effected until your withdrawal nor the use of such personal data for statutory purposes.

(6) Individual's rights
Every individual subscribed to the newsletter has the:
  • Right of access,
  • Right to object,
  • Right to rectification,
  • Right to be forgotten,
  • Right to data portability, 
  • Right to restriction of processing and retention or right to withdraw the consent for processing and retention, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing which was, on the basis of consent or approval, carried out until its withdrawal.

The individual may exercise those rights at any time.

All requests received by the user will be treated in accordance with the internal rules of the company Jezeršek gostinstvo.

(7) Data protection
We have taken technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Our methods and safety measures are regularly adapted to the latest standards and modern technologies. 
If the protection of your personal data is compromised, and if this would indicate that such a threat to the protection of personal data could pose a great risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you immediately.
In the case of a personal data breach, we shall without undue delay and, where feasible, not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it, notify the personal data breach to the competent supervisory authority.

(8) Right to object
If you believe that we have violated your rights in any way, you may submit an application for clarification to the company Jezeršek gostinstvo or the competent supervisory authority - the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia: Republic of Slovenia, Information Commissioner, Zaloška 59, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia,  www.ip-rs.si, at any time.

We commit ourselves to process all collected data only in the context of the aforementioned management purposes or to process all personal data and in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and other relevant sectoral legislation as well as in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data (GDPR).
