The guest Chefs at the Gorenje Gourmet Cable car dinner will be Bine Volčič, Karim Merdjadi, and Luka Jezeršek, the judges of the Season 4 Master Chef cooking competition show.
Is it still possible to register for the Cable car dinner with three Chefs?
Applications are no longer possible as all capacities have already been filled. But it is still possible to apply for any other upcoming event of Cable car dinners organized throughout the year. Check out the dates here.
Where is it possible to park and what is the estimated cost?
Free parking spaces are allocated at the lower Cable car station Krvavec for all our diners.
Do I need to register for the event or buy a ticket?
No registration is necessary. To get to the Krvavec beach which is the venue for the main event, you only need to buy a lift ticket or a chairlift ticket.
Which Chefs will be present at the event?
On Sunday, 28th January, the Après Ski Gourment will cater to all visitors, as well as foodies, coming to Krvavec. The world champion of pasta preparation Jure Tomič (Ošterija Debeluh), a Chef with his own unique style Igor Delak (Mochoritch, Austria), the cooking diva Ana Šušteršič (Jezeršek gostinstvo), a Tuscan Chef Michelin Guiseppe Mancino (Il Piccolo Principe**, Italy), a young and ambitious Chef Michelin Ivan Bombieri (Ristorante La Taverna*, Italy), and the authentic Milan Chef Cesare Battisti (Ristorante Ratanà, Italy) will proudly plate their culinary creations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the price of EUR 4.00. Eminent Chefs will definitely pamper the pallets and cater to the pettiest of gourmets.
How does the food tasting work?
The dishes are sampled in exchange for coupons. One coupon is valid for one dish. Each Chef will have his own dish samples prepared at their station. The dish will be paid for with the coupon at the station itself.
Where are the coupons purchased and how much do they cost?
The coupons can be purchased at the event’s main bar. The price of the coupon is EUR 4.00.
When are the Chefs going to give the tasting?
The Chefs will be preparing their specialties from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or at least until they run out of them.
Will it be possible to have something else?
Gratinated oysters and champagne will be available at the price of EUR 3.00. For the true foodies, Jezeršek gostinstvo will serve other specialties as well. At a nearby chalet Kladarca, visitors can choose from a variety of dishes: flying chicken thighs with potato salad, pot barley stew (vegetarian or meat), and the Jezeršek Kaiserschmarrn with apple sauce.
Will there be an accompanying program?
Yes. Besides the Chefs, a DJ and an animator will cater to the good vibes at the ski slopes.
